How often should hardwood floors be refinished?
Many floors benefit from refinishing every 7–10 years, depending on traffic and overall wear.
Can hardwood floors be mopped?
Yes. Use a lightly damp mop, followed by a dry pass, to protect the wood. Never use steam mops on hardwood floors. For detailed mopping guidelines, visit our Maintenance page.
What finish is best for my home?
Oil-based finishes create rich depth and require longer cure times. Water-based finishes dry quickly and have less odor. Both provide lasting protection when applied by our craftsmen.
