What You Can Expect for Custom Hardwood Floor Installation:  

Preparation for Installation 

Before installation, we ask that you move all furnishings from the room, including furniture and appliances. Once everything is removed, the wood for your new floor will be delivered to your home to acclimate. Acclimation is a critical step in the installation process, as it allows the wood to adjust to the environment of your home.  

Installation and Finishing 

During the installation of your new floors, expect some dust and debris.  

Once the installation is complete, we will apply the finish to your floors. At this stage, you will not have access to the room until the finish is completely dried and has had time to cure. The time required for this process varies depending on the type of finish used, humidity and temperature levels. We will inform you exactly when you can walk on your new floors and when you can move your furniture and appliances back into the room.
