Wondering what a screen and coat process is?  This is different than a clean and wax process.

The screen and coat process (also referred to as a buff and coat) is a procedure for hardwood floors that is a cost effective method of fixing or revitalizing worn or dull floors.  Instead of paying for a complete refinishing, flooring can be brought back to life, but don't expect deep scratches and dings to be removed.  The same holds true for removing paint that may have been splattered over the years.  Frequent screen and coat applications can protect and postpone the need for a complete refinishing at a later date.  We would recommend waiting until the morning after the process is completed before walking on...

You will probably only purchase a hardwood floor once. Do the planning to make sure you get what you want. Think about the type of wood that will compliment your home and decor. What rooms do you want to install the floor? Do you have children or pets? Research the company you chose to install it. Ask them questions, How many years in business?
